Telehealth (computer, tablet, iPad, or smartphone connected to the internet) or Virtual Visit (via regular telephone) will enable you to keep your appointment from the comfort and safety of your home. Telehealth is for Medicare and most insurances, except Medicaid. Virtual Visit is for Medicare only.

With over 40 years of practice experience in Princeton, West Virginia, the providers at Mercer Medical Group Cardiology (formerly Princeton Internists) have special expertise in the study and treatment of medical conditions of the heart and the circulatory system, including arteries and veins.

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Prescott received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts.
He completed his internship and residency at Albany Medical Center, Albany, New York, and his fellowship in internal medicine at Albany Medical College Union University.
Dr. Prescott served two years in the U. S. Army. He opened his practice with Princeton Internists (now Mercer Medical Group Cardiology) in 1971.

Princeton Community Hospital and Mercer Medical Group Cardiology are pleased to welcome Paul A Suri, MD.
Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, Dr. Suri earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. He completed undergraduate work at Columbia University, New York, New York, and research in molecular biology at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas.
Dr. Suri fulfilled his residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center, Washington, D.C.; completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver; and completed a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester.
Dr. Suri comes to Mercer Medical Group Cardiology with nearly 30 years of clinical experience. He is accepting new patients and he looks forward to providing the residents of southern West Virginia and southwest Virginia with the highest level of cardiac care.
Board certified in Nuclear Cardiology, a Diplomat of the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine Interventional Cardiology, and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Nawaz brings over 38 years of experience to MMG Cardiology. He completed Cardiology Fellowships at Miami Heart Institute, Miami, Florida; New York Presbyterian Hospital, Manhattan, New York; and Nassau University Medical Center/SUNY, Manhasset, New York. His internal medicine residencies were completed at SUNY, Manhasset, New York and Lincoln Hospital, New York Medical College, Bronx, New York.
Dr. Nawaz earned his medical degree from Khyber Medical College, University of Peshawar, Pakistan.
He recently served as Non-Invasive and Invasive Cardiologist at Harris Regional Hospital, Sylva, North Carolina, where he founded an Invasive Cardiology Program.
Dr. Nawaz initiated Interventional Cardiology Programs at Lower Keys Medical Center, Key West; Florida Hospital, Deland; and Mt. Sinai Hospital, Miami Beach, Florida.
He served as Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana; and he was an Instructor of Medicine at Cornell University Medical College, Division of Cardiology, New York.
