At Princeton Community Hospital, our laboratory provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient testing services. Working in a tightly controlled environment, our medical professionals employ the latest technologies to serve the needs of our physicians and patients timely and accurately.
The following tests require patient scheduling in advance
- Bone marrow procedures
- Chromosome analysis
- Glucose tolerance
- Lactose tolerance
- Semen analysis
- Therapeutic phlebotomy
- Quantaferon TB gold testing
- Others (not specified)
All other lab tests do not require scheduling in advance. You may bring your doctor’s order to the PCH Lab, Mercer Medical Group or St. Luke’s Professional Building, Suite 3, without calling in advance.
Laboratory services also are provided by Princeton Community Hospital at Mercer Medical Group, 118 Twelfth Street, Princeton, WV 24740 (beside the hospital), phone: 304-431-5166; and at St. Luke’s Professional Building, Suite 3, 1331 Southview Drive, Bluefield, WV 24701, phone: 304-325-2500. Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Specimens are sent to Princeton Community Hospital for testing.
Princeton Community Hospital’s Laboratory is CLIA certified and accredited by the JCAHO.

From the main entrance to the hospital:
Proceed to the end of corridor and take a left. After a few steps, a long corridor opens to the right. Proceed down this corridor to the sixth door on the left with Laboratory signage above.
